Installation #1 - History of the Bells
As part of Iridian, I worked closely with the team at Creighton Prep to bring the story and meaning behind their new bell tower to life with a custom wall installation.
The bell wall installation is made up of a series of acrylic panels. Inspired by the architecture of the newly-built common space, large blocks of color complement those found in the flooring and lit beams overhead. Panels are set at 3 different distances from the wall, creating a dynamic push-and-pull effect. The design itself features photos of each bell found in the new bell tower, backlit with LED lights to replicate the glow of the tower at night. Photos of the bell and main donors were chosen by the Creighton Prep team.
Installation #2 - It Starts Here
Creighton Prep has an incredibly strong and diverse network of alumni from all areas of the metro that branch out across the globe. The It Starts Here features two maps – one showing where students come from in the Omaha metro area, and another showing where they've gone post-graduation. Creighton Prep students come from every corner of the metro and beyond.
Placed at the entrance to the school, the It Starts Here installation reminds students and alumni alike that no matter where you are from or where you choose to go, the vast network of fellow Prep alumni will be there to support and empower you.
